Fort City Church began with the dream of being a church where people far from God could begin their journey toward Jesus. A place where "everyone was welcome, nobody was perfect, and anything could happen".

Forty years later, this legacy lives on.  The desire to help people discover Jesus for the first time runs deep at Fort City. Looking to 2024, we anticipate growth in all of our ministries. People need hope more than ever and we are living out our legacy by connecting them with Jesus and Fort City.

Now is the time to prepare for the future and how God will continue to use Fort City in releasing His kingdom in greater ways, to more people in Fort McMurray and the world.

Our challenge for 2023:

We have three key financial goals, that will set us up to move forward with strength into the future God has for us. They are only possible if each of us makes a commitment by faith to live with margin to move from surviving to thriving. 

We aren’t about just doing religion but instead living out a life-transforming relationship with Jesus. We aim to grow deeply in love for God, others, and ourselves.

The good news of Jesus isn’t just for you. There’s a world desperately in need of knowing His love. Your family, your community, your neighbourhood, and your workplace all need to know and experience Him in their lives.
