YWAM Fort McMurray is part of YWAM Canada and YWAM international and located in Northern Alberta. YWAM works with, at-risk low-income families, youth mentorship, and Indigenous education within the RMWB. YWAM helps strengthen individuals, youth, and families through relationships and building a sense of community, especially where addiction, poverty, loneliness, and a lack of personal resources have had negative impacts.
YWAM is an international movement of Christians from different denominations and countries with a passion for knowing God and making Him known.
The Partnership
YWAM Fort McMurray leads Fort City Youth, along with their Youth Mentorship Program and Youth Lunch Program. They also operate a once a week Family Night for single-parent and low-income families on-site at Fort City, as well as hold their office space and classroom in our building.
We partner together to host events, pray for our city, and reach our community.
