Your First Fort City Sunday

We are glad your thinking about checking out Fort City Church and we get it... visiting a church for the first time can be pretty intimidating. Truth is we are just normal people, who are trying to figure out what it means to live and look like Jesus. A typical Sunday service looks like 4 or 5 fresh and exciting worship songs, mixed in with a challenging message, maybe communion or an inspiring short video, and at least a few spilled coffees.

ARRIVE

Find parking and make your way inside. Grab a coffee, meet new people, and pick a seat for worship.

WORSHIP

Sing a few songs, with a full, rocking band. Listen and be challenged through preaching.

CONNECT

After the service you will have the opportunity to meet a few people and get involved in one of our weekly groups. Then come back and do it all again the following week.

INFANTS - GRADE 5

We might just have more kids than adults here at Fort City. We are committed to creating fun learning environments for kids. Our hope is that all our kids come to know the love of Jesus at an early age.

FUN

Kid City loves to have fun, with energetic worship music and interactive games. Our team is made up of people who love to share the love of Jesus with our kids every Sunday.

LEARNING

Investing in Kid City is investing in our future. Our goal is for kids to learn about the love of Jesus and experience God weekly. Relevant, age appropriate Bible lessons are taught every Sunday.

SAFETY

The safety of your kids is important to us. We are committed to providing safe environments for you kids. All of our staff and volunteers complete background checks and are trained with the safety of your kids in mind.

Meet The Team

The staff team at Fort City is made up of a diverse mix of guys and girls who are passionate about making church and the Gospel accessible for all people. Each staff member arrived at Fort City by following their own uniquely personal paths, but all are united in the goal of growing this church into people who look and love like Jesus. The team is mostly made up of relaxed fit with a skinny or two mixed in for good measure.

SHAUNA JENKINS

Children’s and Family Director

Shauna leads Kid City, one of Fort City’s largest ministries. Shauna is a passionate believer in our mantra: “Everyone is welcome. No one is perfect. Anything is possible.” Together with the Kid City team, she ensures that all kids are welcome and have a powerful worship experience every Sunday. Our desire is that kids come to know Jesus at a young age. In addition to Kid City, Shauna spends her time riding Harley's and hanging out in the garage with her husband Tim.

LUCAS & ADRIEN WELSH
